UW Wellness now giving ECMO treatment for little ones as young as 13

MADISON, Wis. — UW Health and fitness says ECMO know-how to address cardiac arrest will now be available for kids as younger as 13.

The overall health treatment provider is partnering with initially responder businesses in the Madison place to aid them understand when a little one with a close to-grownup-sized physique would qualify for the ECMO when enduring cardiac arrest.
