Jackson dead: “medical emergency” cited | News, Sports, Jobs

LOCK HAVEN – Jamie Lynn Jackson, 36, formerly of East Bald Eagle Street, Lock Haven, was pronounced dead at Lock Haven Hospital at 12:48 p.m. this afternoon following a medical emergency, according to a joint statement posted Sunday evening to Crimewatch by Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse, Coroner Zach Hanna and the Pennsylvania State Police.

Jackson had been in custody at the Clinton County Correctional Facility in McElhatten, and was awaiting her upcoming trial in spring 2022.

According to the release, on Sunday, Jackson “reportedly experienced a medical emergency at the correctional facility and was taken to Lock Haven Hospital by ambulance. Cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy.”

The statement notes that there were no other individuals involved.
