The fitness influencer branded the gym employee’s actions as ‘scary’ after he found her number and left her a voicemail while she was exercising that creeped her out
Visiting the gym can be an anxiety-inducing experience for a lot of people, and it can be made worse by the thought of other gym-goers staring at you while you try to exercise.
But for one fitness influencer on TikTok, her recent trip to the gym left her thoroughly creeped out – as one of the employees decided to track down her phone number and leave her a voicemail while he watched her work out.
The woman, from the US, revealed she had only been at the gym for “five minutes” when one of the workers went into her records to pull up her phone number and give her a call, which she branded as “scary”.

She wrote in one video: “I wasn’t even at the gym for more than five minutes today and a worker pulled my phone number from my gym pass and called me and left a voicemail. What is wrong with you all, for real?
“Guys need to understand that it’s actually scary to do s**t like that.”
The woman, who posts under the username @kenyastephh, then uploaded a clip of the voicemail she had received, which saw the gym employee admit to watching her doing “glute spreads”.
In the video, the man said: “Hello this is EOS Fitness … we saw you doing glute spreads.”
The audio cut off before anything else was said, and the woman said she was left shaken up by the intrusion into her private information.
She wrote on the clip: “Friendly reminder to men to please not do things like this. This is very scary, too many weird things happen, I’m sorry for the women and I wish this wouldn’t happen.
“I wasn’t in the room for more than five minutes and I got the call and I always wear a jacket around my waist to avoid this stuff. I was just trying to take some pictures before my workout.
“Also, I’m under as a guest on my friend’s membership.”
The woman also confirmed in the comments she is in the process of contacting management about the worker, as commenters responded to her videos to call out the man for his “unprofessional” behaviour.
One person wrote: “That’s stalker behaviour. I hope you let the supervisor or someone know so he doesn’t do it to anyone else! Girl, stay safe!”
As another said: “He crossed a line.”
While a third wrote: “That’s unprofessional as f**k.”
The woman then later replied in the comments: “I removed my contact info and I’m in the process of removing my name too. I’m under my friends guest pass to avoid this and he still pulled my info up.
“I lost count of how many gyms I’ve switched to, so that’s why I’m under my friends guest pass because now I’m changing gyms again.”
