Allegheny Wellbeing Network relocating Categorical Treatment clinic to new location in New Kensington

Allegheny Health Community declared Monday it is moving its Categorical Treatment clinic to new quarters in New Kensington.

The new locale in Suite 1C at Kensington Sq. on Eighth Road is scheduled to open Feb. 21. It is next to the network’s New Kensington Outpatient Middle, which opened there in December in Suite 1B just after going out of the former Citizens Typical Hospital.

The Specific Care’s new place is not significantly from its recent site at 305 Seventh St., throughout from the clinic and where it has operated given that opening in July 2019. It will continue to be open there right up until the new locale opens, claimed Kathy Englert, assistance line director for principal care for AHN.

The relocation “is for the usefulness of the people to be close to the outpatient products and services,” Englert claimed.

The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Through AHN’s United Doctors exercise, it will deliver treatment for small illnesses and injuries, like allergy symptoms and bronchial asthma, coughs and colds, small burns, cuts, sprains and strains.

“At United Doctors, we delight ourselves on the superior-high quality, personalized care we produce to patients of our Convey Treatment, quite a few of whom rely on our vendors for their schedule major care,” Dr. Mark Heino reported.

The clinic normally sees people 16 and older, but no a person will be turned away, Englert said. If little ones are viewed and need to have added treatment, they will be referred to a medical center, household exercise or pediatrician.

“The door’s open for everybody,” she reported.

Clients needing lab or X-ray companies will be equipped to pay a visit to the outpatient center.

Those people with far more serious well being challenges or emergencies ought to phone 911 or visit the crisis section at Allegheny Valley Medical center in Harrison rather of the Express Treatment, Heino stated.
