Children’s Wisconsin in Wauwatosa to insert stroll-in psychological overall health clinic

 A new mental health walk-in clinic for kids is established to open soon at Kid’s Wisconsin.

The clinic, which is the initially of its variety for young children in the Milwaukee spot, will serve as a device for children experiencing urgent mental and behavioral well being needs.

Amy Herbst, vice president of psychological and behavioral health at Children’s Wisconsin, is hoping the clinic will open in February. 

“It really came from families telling us that they necessary a place to go for speedy mental wellness care,” Herbst reported.

Herbst reported kids who had been experiencing urgent psychological wellness issues would be directed to an unexpected emergency area. Now, young children will be directed to the clinic, named The Craig Yabuki Mental Wellbeing Stroll-In Clinic.

The clinic is inside the Clinics Making at the hospital, at the Milwaukee Regional Health-related Heart in Wauwatosa, 8700 W. Watertown Plank Street.
